Biography

He Xue is a Professor in School of Mechanical Engineering at Xi’an University of Science and Technology now. He received B.S. from Xi’an Mining Institute of China in 1982, and M.S. from Xi’an Mining Institute of China in 1988. He received his Ph.D. from Xi’an Jiaotong University of China in 1998. From 1982 to 1985 he worked at Hongyan Coal Mine in Chongqing of China as an Associate Engineer, from 2003 to 2009 he worked in Tohoku University of Japan as a senior scientist, and 2017 and 2019 he worked in Brunel University of UK as a visiting senior research scholar.

Prof. Xue has long been engaged in teaching and research work on the structural integrity, CAE and the mine mechanical equipment field, which continuously obtained the financial support of National Natural Science Foundation Project of China and numerous other projects form the government or the company. Prof. Xue is approved more than 40 national patents, and published more than 200 papers.
